EZSDK VS RDK

I have to make a decision about the software package need to be used in our new product. Now we are using EzSDK. We are interested to migrate to RDK. Before that I am trying to figure out what are the limitations on EZSDK compared to RDK.

I read in many threads that,EzSDK won't support multi channel. But, I could not understand why? From where this limitation is coming?

Are you asking for capture system (VFCC)?

EZSDK is not targetting the multi-channel capture systems.

OpenMax components don’t work in multi process context, main roadblock is DOMX.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking not only the capture system but also I am trying to understand the limitations of EzSDK over RDK. Do you have any document/details which shows the major difference between EzSDK and RDK?

Hello,

Since I know there is no such document. There are many differences. Could you share what you are trying to archive. If you are looking for multi-channel support then DVR RDK is recommended. You could contact your local FAE for DVRRDK.

We are also looking for System performance difference between EZSDK & DVRRDK. We couldn't get document you provided in this thread.
