SPI 32 bit problems on DM8168

Dear all,

i tried to set word lenght diffferent from 8 bit on SPI (i tried 16 bit and 32 bit), and when i try to start to transfer out something the SPI get stucked ()and the whole system too)....

a little bit confused.

Any suggestion on how to solve/debug this issue?

I read it,
but it doesn't help .
The setting is correct (I mean the register has the correct value as data sheet says...), but the behaviour of the system is that it stuck as soon i send something on the SPI. I think is a DMA setting problem, so i think the error is somewhere in the Driver DMA settings. for WL other then 8 bit... (just 8 bit works ).

Can you try in PIO mode (not DMA mode)? The TI81xx SPi driver wiki state that only PIO mode is supported:

Data Exchange - DMA/PIO (driver supports only PIO mode)

Note that DMA mode is enabled for AM335x SPI (newer device than DM816x):
