How to disable range compression in 0..255 to 16..235 for VENC （HDMI ， DVO2，HDCOMP）

Hi all:

I found that DM8168 HD output contrast loss a lot, and i found that in load.sh dvrrdk4.1

# enable range compression in HDMI 0..255 to 16..235.
# This is needed for consumer HDTVs
#

So i want to know is this clipping used in other video encoder like dvo2, hdcomp, sd?

how to confirm as no introduce about dvo2,hdcomp,sd encoder, except HDMI in datasheet

Hi,

This register is set for the HDMI, You could disable this for HDMI. For the other VENCS, you will need to update the parameters of the CSC. There is an display controller interface to update the CSC parameters.

How to use the interface, could you give me more details？
I think all the VENC use same CSC parameters，
