Hi,
Does on-chip hdmi display of dm8168 have compatibility issues or are there any limitations on hdmi display signal?
I have a HDMI to VGA converter(ATEN VC810) and try to connect with dm8168 on-chip hdmi display.
We want to HDMI signal converted to VGA on our VGA monitor in our usecase...but VGA monitor cant lock the converted VGA signal...
The dm8168 on-chip HDMI display works fine connected with hdmi monitor directly. But with converter, it's not work...
I know it maybe the converter problem. But I have tried several hdmi display sources...all work fine with converter.
Could someone give some suggestions?
Remark:
On-chip hdmi display could detect EDID of VGA monitor( connect with converter to VGA monitor)...but VGA signal cant lock...
