Queries about DM8168 CPU with TVP5150AM1 Decoder IC

Hi,

We are using Customized Board with DM8168 CPU with TVP5150AM1 Decoder IC .

Software version : ti-ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_05_02_00

OS : Linux Version 2.6.17

Please clarify the below queries.

1) How to change the Compression rate parameter in the Encoder setttings of DM8168 CPU ?

2) How to handle the any interrupts (Some change in TVP5150 Register) in Gstreamer application ?

3) How to read the status of the Ouput pins hsync (25th pin) and vsync (24th pin) in TVP5150AM1 IC

    In EZSDK for DM8168 we are using gstreamer version 0.10.

            Reply : We couldnt find any compression rate parameter in the Encoder User guide. We would like to know how to make zero compression in Encoder in DM8168.

        2) How to handle the any interrupts (Some change in TVP5150 Register) in Gstreamer application ?

        Could you provide more details?

            Reply: We are using gstreamer command line to record video from TVP5150 decoder IC using DM8168. In this case, if  there is any change in status register of decoder IC(TVP5150), how to know this status change from gstreamer application during video recording.

    You could try  QpI, qpP etc , higher these values lower bitrate and compression ratio.
