Quality issue of on-chip HDMI display

Hi Ti,

We use the on-chip HDMI display as a loop-through output in our design but there are some quality issue on HDMI display.

For loop-through usage, we loop the user's laptop HDMI video output that captured via DM8168 VIP port(connected with HDMI Rx chip) to DM8168 on-chip hdmi display.

The text on display seems unclear after loop-through...Below is HDMI monitor snapshot:

Laptop HDMI output loop-through to HDMI monitor(eg. Laptop HDMI output -> HDMI Rx chip-> dm8168VIP port-> dm8168 on-chip HDMI output) -

BTW, We have tried loop-through to DM8168 VGA display(tie with on-chip HDMI display)...the quality is better.

Are there any adjustments that could improve HDMI display quality?

Any suggestion will be appreciate
