hello TI-friends,

By my test,

1. there's no problem when test with "h264 and jpg" or "h263 and jpeg". Is there any possible to generate problem when mixing h263, jpg, h264 ??

2. As I test with h263, h264, jpg, the problem was generated after 2~3 hours...

Is there any idea??

Hello,

Do you use DM816x device? Do you use EZSDK or DVRRDK or else?

currently, I use DVRRDK....

does it look like there's something happened among mixed codecs ??

This error will occur only when number of mail box messages from HDVICP2 to Media Controller exceeds (232 - 1).

Hi,

Can you provide all the codec parameters as asked in the old thread? I hope you have made the necessary changes to support the triple stream in DM8168?

what we did is doing following at the same time
encode H263, H264, MJPEG,
decode H263, H264

And the codec settings are listed as previous post.

Hi,

Do you mean to say, its 3-Encode + 2-Decode at same time? If yes, have you tried only 3 Encode? How does it behave with only 3-Decode case.

> no, because in our application, we have this case by customer's request.

What I have tried are
case 1: enc(h263, h264, mjpeg), dec(h263, h264) --------- halt
case 2: enc(h263, h264), dec(h263, h264) ------------------- not halt (till now, still testing)
case 3: enc(h264, mjpeg), dec(h264) -------------------------- not halt
case 4: enc(h263, mjpeg), dec(h263) -------------------------- not yet try

Any idea?

It looks like DVRRDK issue & not related to Video codec!

Hi,

I learnt from your last posts that JPEG -Encoder used is latest. Did you try migrating all the codecs to latest ones? Mean while I have asked other experts to look into this. I have limited information on DVRRDK
