What I'm specifically looking for is a DVR reference design, and I noticed this one although it does look like it might be going obsolete (no further SDK releases etc): http://www.ti.com/tool/DVRRD
An off-the-shelf design for a DVR with a couple of channels HD1080P and some software would be ideal. Is the DM8168 not being recommended for new designs?
