We recently reviewed our older design using the DM6446 and we saw a routing recommendation for the 1.8V PLL :
The 1.8-V supply of the EMI filter must be from the same 1.8-V power plane supplying the device’s 1.8-V I/O power-supply pins (DVDD).
However, in the actual design the 1.8V supply for the PLL is provided by the LDO on the PMIC device and does not come from the same power plane as the 1.8V IO of the DSP (DVDD).
Could you confirm what would be the consequences of having a separate LDO for the PLL 1.8V??
We want to make sure we won’t have any potential problem with a configuration like this.
