Real-Time Lossless DVI or HDMI Video Manipulation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM385, AM5718

Hi,

We have a high-definition video signal that can come over either DVI or HDMI (our choice). We need to perform an operation (apply a 3D LUT) to this data before it displays on the screen. Our hope is to build a hardware box that accepts DVI or HDMI in, applies the transform, and then outputs the modified video again on DVI or HDMI without lossy compression. To add to the challenge, this must also happen in real-time or without noticeable lag.

Looking over TI's line of products it seems that some of your DSPs would work as a solution. However, we're relatively new to this and could use some help selecting the right one and more technically defining our specifications. Are there any TI engineers that could advise?

Cheers,

Richard Kwok
