Which product is suitable for 14-bits H.264 video conding ? DM6446, AM5728 or AM5718?

We're looking for a Digital Signal Processors to do H.264 video coding (for 14-bits infrared video compression).

We already have a DM6446 DVEVM KIT bought in 2006.

TI e-mail technical support recommend the AM5728 or AM5718 for H.264 video coding.

We want to know what's the main difference between these processors?

And can these processors support 14-bits processing?

Is there any H.264 codec for these processors?
