Recently I've been wondering if there is a way I can successfully change a demo's map to make it look different. With this I would be able to use snow or night versions of maps instead.
Some spots in the demo videos hint that the demos were played on the original versions of the map.
I've tried replacing the .bsp of the map and loading up the demo. It loads the snow/night version, but there are lighting bugs and triggers show up as if I were in hammer.
Any advice would be appreciated.
