How long shall we wait for the abandon of the export control for Beagle board?

I come from China and want to buy a Beagle Board for trying it in China,
while due to the export control for Beagle Board, I could not order it.

I just wonder why it could be bought in India, but could not in China.
As you know, there are many BeagleBoard fans in China, while they could not
share the fun with the whole BeagleBoard community.

So what a pity for it:(!

I note that it is said at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9xVbntl-DY on July that

the export control will soon be abandon, but now it is at the midlet of Sep and seems

no info about it, so how long shall the fans of Beagle Board ourside U.S. wait for?

Can anyone help to clarify it?

      Thanks!

      BRs,

There is no way to *completely* eliminate export controls, but Digi-Key has stated multiple times that they *are* shipping to China.  Please provide me with the contact at Digi-Key that refused to take your order and I will take it up with Digi-Key.  Without knowing who is saying no, I do not know how to help you.  If you give me a name, however, we can learn why you were refused by going through contacts at Digi-Key.

Thank you very much for everyone's  help!

I just talked with the Digi-Key on their live chat, and still could not meet my requirement.

I believe there is typically the option to save the transcript.  Can you please do so?  I'm told very clearly that shipping to China is allowed, so I must know who at Digi-Key is saying what about them not being allowed to ship.  Perhaps there is a miscommunication or they are not asking you all of the right questions.

      Hi

I am having a similar problem getting 2 beagleboards shipped to the UK.  As some of our end customers are immigaration departments - we sell lots of equipment to US immigration, then DigiKey have refused to supply the beagleboards to us

This is a shame, I guess I'll have to find another board for our applciation

Do you have a contact at DigiKey you can provide?  As Jason pointed out above, we need to indentify who in DigiKey is saying this so we can correct this.
