    Hello,

I am new to this forum, and not quite sure if this is a right place to post my question. I would like to use a processor for audio recording, and signal processing. The sampling rate is high (at least 48k Hz). I would like to know if someone can introduce me the right processor.

Do you have any other specific requirements?  This might help narrow down the field.  Also any insight into the processing requirements would also help.

But to start out, take a look at the TMS320C6748 as a potential start.  This may not be the right device, but will give some food for thought.

      Vahid,

A good starting point to find components and reference designs for audio applications is audio application product folder on ti.com  mentioned below:

      http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/analog/audio/audio_overview.page

Choice of processor will depend on several factors : Power requirements, peripheral set needed in your application, performance of processor, price etc ..so it would be difficult to pin point the one right processor. There are several options in the C5000 and C6000 family of devices that will meet you requirement. Use the tools provide on that page to narrow down your options.

      Regards,

      Rahul
