What Sitara microprocessors will be available and when? How can I get started?

  • AM3505 and AM3517 MPUs: You can order samples (XAM3505ZCN & XAM3517ZCN) starting October 21 and order entry is open for the corresponding TMDXEVM3517 evaluation module. Currently, delivery of EVMs is expected within 4 weeks
  • AM based SitaraARM9 solutions will be available starting in early 2010.

 Developers can prototype their designs immediately using the TMDXEVM3517 module and the included Linux support package.  The TMDXEVM3517 module is priced at $999 and includes:

  • Hardware: AM3517 System on Module (SOM), EVM baseboard, applications card, LCD display, and 256MB DDR2 memory.
  • Software:  Linux kernel 2.6.31 board support package and initial release software development kit plus Code Sourcery development tools 

 Additional support is also available from TI's broad developer network including additional operating system, development tool and application software support.
