i´am trying to get the touch-controller on the logigpd L138 SOM-M1 running.
I asked the logigpd support if they support the touch functionality on the TPS65070RSL.
They told me the following:
The touch feature is supported on the OMAP-L138 SOM. It should be partof the touch/HID and/or LCD functions. TI has written the code for theLinux kernel that comes programmed into the L138 Kit.
Can anybody please tell me what´s the kernel version they talk about,
whre to find the driver and
am i able to find this feature in the kernel on
Every tip to enable the touch is very welcome,
thank you very much.
Maybe you have already found a solution for above, but a patch was just released based on a touchscreen driver from RidgeRun.
(commit info here http://www.gitorious.org/angstrom/openembedded/commit/e9a3e9d3dfad1a3cedc17ac2458c4c690133f247)
This is a patch that will apply to the OpenEmbedded git repository, and within it implements patches that will apply to the kernel associated with OE at this time. I'm sure this will make it further upstream as time goes on.
For my setup (Arago 2.6.32-rc6 kernel + tslib on the omap l138 evm w/ logic WQVGA display) this patch gives me a working touchscreen.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.
