I think some TI engineers have already known me as I posted many discussions here, which were all about AM1810 applications. Instead of a technical question, this post has two aims: -1) Thank you for all your help and AM1810 board we developed works well now. -2) For a long time, our team tried to analyse why so few customers used AM1810 in the past? At least, we found the supply of AM1810 in global market didn't prosper all the time since AM1810 came out. In our opinion, maybe those bugs our team found in the past half year are the bottlenecks for those other customer who tried to develop AM1810. Maybe they didn't dive into the problems for any they met, while our team kept conversations with your engineers and found some important bugs.
So we are wondering now if TI product strategy team will reconsider AM1810's blueprint as AM1810 is excellent after bugs got fixed. I think TI AM1810 developing team also felt stressed and disappointed with the status of AM1810's market share. For our team, we are using this chip on wind turbines and the market is beyond imagination. And we hope a stable supply and lower cost after your massive production of AM1810. Therefore, we'd like to hear from both your technical team and strategy team and have a discussion.
I hope TI engineers here can help with this issue, which means a lot to us as well as to your AM1810.
Thank you!
