AM1705 : How to suppress EMI

Dear specialist

Our customer has been struggling to suppress EMI at EMIF 133MHz line.
They put damping resistor of 10ohm on EMB_CLK line but not pass EMI standard.
(Waveform is as below)

Could you please provide any advises about the above?

Best regards.

  • Sorry I forgot to attach waveform.

    Best regards.

  • Hello Alpha,

Generally the damping resistor would reduce the effect of EMI issue. Try change the resistor value to 22 ohms and check.

Is the EMB_CLK signal routed properly with enough clearance to the adjacent traces ?

How long is the EMB_CLK signal routed in PCB ?

Are you using crystal or external oscillator for input clock ?

Is the input source clock clean ?

Have you followed the filtering guidelines provided for PLL ?

    Regards,

    Senthil
