Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hi

I can get TW9910 video data on OMAP-L138, SDK version is MCSDK 1.02. The capture size is:720X576.

   The video picture is:

 The chrome data is wrong!

In OMAP-L180 Technical Reference Manual, I find these on P1747:

Does I need to reset TW9910 Register to adjust H/V delay/ active parameters? If it is, what should I do to config these L1~L12 value?

Who can help me to get correctly video data?

  Thanks very much!

  • Who can give me some advice to do this?

    Thanks very much!

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

First, please ensure the video i/o format is compliant to BT.656 /BT 1120 which should support NTST/PAL TV system format and accordingly, your camera TW9910 registers should be adjusted to support this video I/O format.

Next, as i see, your video input is of SD resolution 720x576 and i presume that, VPIF supports only interlaced video for SD resolution and that too, it is compatible to 720x480i and all parameters from L1 to L12 are configurable through VPIF registers and the values for the same are specified in Figure 36-4 as per TRM P1747 but it is specified with 720x420i interlaced SD video resolution. However, please ensure the captured video resolution 720x576  from TW9910 camera supports all parameters (L1 to L12) for interlaced video can be tuned through VPIF register configuration. (Kindly refer sections 36.3.24, 36.3.25 & 36.3.26 for channel n vertical size configuration registers and likewise, see sections 36.3.29, 36.3.30 & 36.3.31 for channels n horizontal size configuration registers.)

Please refer Table 36-5 for the VPIF register configuration on BT.656 input and use the standard parameter values for NTST & PAL TV system formats.

    Thanks & regards,

    Sivaraj K
