Hello Madhu,
Welcome to TI E2E forum!
First come up with your memory requirement like memory capacity, bus width, operating frequency, No. of memory chips etc., and based on your requirement you can select the DDR2 SDRAM. Also you need to consider the AM1808 DDR2 memory controller features in the device datasheet (SPRS653E) section 6.11.
We would suggest to use Micron part as most of our customers are using memory from Micron. The LogicPD OMAP-L138/C6748/AM1808 SOM module also having the memory part from Micron MT46H64M16LFCK-6:A.

Hello Madhu,
The memory part that mentioned in the above post is mDDR and not DDR2. You can prefer to use the following DDR2 parts that are used in our EVMs.
1. Micron - MT47H64M16HR-3:G
2. Samsung - K4T1G164QF-BCE7

Thank you so much for your reply.
We need 2Gb (256MB) Capacity DDR2 SDRAM, 16-bit bus width, 1 chip. The operating frequency is whatever available in the market, because the ddr which was used in TI EVKs was Obsolete. In case 2Gb not available then suggest 1Gb.
The chip MT46H64M16LFCK-6 is also showing as Obsolete in the Micron web site.
The data sheet SPRS653E showing the Max supported frequency is 156MHz, if i select 333MHz DDR, is it possible to use with 156MHz frequency.
Presently we are unable to get 155MHz speed of DDR2 in the market.
Thank you.
