OMAPL138B can boot from UART0, 1 or 2. I am assuming this boot method would still work even if I used a UART to USB FTDI chip on the board. Can you confirm if the "The UART Boot Host utility" on PC, as described in the "Using the OMAP-L132/L138 Bootloader" Application Report (SPRAB41E), recognize this virtual UART (over USB)? I will install the appropriate drivers for the FTDI chip on the PC.
