We has demand on TMDSEVML138 development kit...

However, it's Obsoleted, Could we have suitable replacement ? Thanks.

    Hello Eason,

    Yes, the TMDSEVML138 is obsolete and you could find OMAPL138 LCDK board as its replacement.

    TI does not expect to have LCDK inventory in the PDC for at least one month. We were previously expecting these to be available in Aug time frame , but we have managed to pull this in, and as per the latest estimates the expectation is to have limited availability in June (order via SAP) and TI estore in July time frame.

    I also have a need for the TMDSEVML138 development kit...or two also.     We use the LogicPD OMAP L138 SOM that the TMDSEVM138 works with.    Could TI provide just the experimenter boards?    No need for a full development kit, LCDs or anything like that.  Just the experimenter boards.

    Is there some reason that TI no longer lists LogicPD in the TI design network for the L138 processor?

    Hi David,
    Our LCDK (OMAPL138 and C6748) board supports camera,LCD,VGA output ,composite input etc.,

    I hope this hw and sw support from LCDK board is more than enough for any development with low cost.
    We have also, starterware and CSL package sw support for our LCDK boards.

    Actually the LogiPD has stopped the production for OMAPL138.

    Please revert for further clarifications if any.
