Algorithms to implemented on OMAPL137

Hello Everyone,

My name is Naveen and am new to TI family. Am using SM470R1B1M-HT TI controller and from this am planning to generate sine wave and add white gaussain noise to it and send it to OMAPL137BPTPH-HT via SPI protocol to remove noise .
In OMAPL137BPTPH-HT am planning to implement FIR algorithm to remove noise and FFT algorithm for RMS calcuation for the data(Sine wave +noise) generated by SM470R1B1M-HT.
Can i implement these algorithms ??If yes, can you please provide me the link for the sample codes.!!
what other algorithms can i implement on SM470R1B1M-HT and OMAPL137BPTPH-HT?? As i need to utilize 80% of my CPU time.

Suggestions and inputs will be really helpful for my development

Thanks for your reply. But, please do let me know whether i can implement FFT and FIR algorithhms on my OMAPL137???. Beacause i have got a mixed response on this. While Interacting with one of the TI Engineer he clearly says tat apart from FFT and FIR algorithms cannot be implemented on OMAPL137. Apart from these 2 algorithms other algorithms can be implemented and also, i wanted a list of other algorithms.

Input data is coming from SM470 to OMAPL137 via SPI. So, please do let me know what other things can be implemented on my SM470 apart from sine wave.

Can you please give me list of algorithms which will work for nearly 90% on both my SM470 and OMAPL137.

In my project am using my SM470 to generate input and OMAPL137 to process my genearated input and sending back to MCU via SPI.

Hi,
Did you refer to the above wikis given by Arvind ?

As Arvind suggested, have you used the IIR and FIR filter on OMAPL137 ?

As per wiki, it does support C674x that means, it does support for C6748 and C6747.
In OMAPL137, C6747 DSP core is used, so you can run those FIR and IIR examples with DSPLIB.

Hi Titus,
Am planning to work only on the DSP core and i will be disabling the ARM9 core. So, i think it should work on the C6747 core. Also, thanks a lot for your input.
