OMAP-L138 Access Memory Issues

We built PCB's using the OMAP L138 chip following the design guides closely, however we are having issues with the OMAP chip talking the the memory. When we run the memory test it fails and gives this error message:

"--- Test address and data bus ---addr/data bus test failed at address: 0xC0000000test_data: 0x00000001*test_addr: 0xFFFFFFFF"

Any suggestions on troubleshooting this problem? We have looked through a lot of the material provided by TI on the website already and haven't had any luck yet.

Able to connect the emulator successfully and able to access the memory addresses through CCS memory window ?
Able to run any TI OMAPL138 examples on your custom board ?
Which memory test example are you using ?

Here are the answers to your questions.

The JTAG connection is successful but access to external memory fail.

Able to run any TI OMAPL138 examples on your custom board ?

Yes. Any example we tried which runs in internal RAM works. Examples which use external RAM for a heap also work if the linker file is changed to remap the heap to internal RAM.

Which memory test example are you using ?

The test_ram project from the "OMAP-L138 SOM-M1 GEL, CCS Setup, & BSL Files v1.1" package from LogicPD. This custom board is based on the LogicPD SOM-M1 design.
