omapl138 sometime boot stop at u-boot but most can start normal

Omapll138 sometime will stop at u-boot at difference space, but used debug tools, connect with ARM9 , can see the "PC" value are 0xFFFD45DC, this address is in the ARM local ROM.

The following information is differen stop space. Why the cpu go to 0xFFFD45DC ?

Which MCSDK (PSP) version are you using ?
Are you bringup your custom board or its field issues ?
i.e It worked for some times but not now ?
How many boards are getting this problem ?

Dear Titus:
I used arago-project.org/git/projects/?p=u-boot-davinci.gitDEV_DAVINCIPSP_03.22.00.06 tag
Now all the board can get this problem (more than 100), why the pc go to 0xFFFD45DC, I see it some param error with DDR2.

Do you have any OMAPL138 EVM or LCDK board with you ?
Able to reproduce the problem on your custom board and EVM boards ?
Able to reproduce the issue with working custom boards ?
It would be useful to us.

Sorry， I only have our board. Can you tall me where to get the reference of the ARM local ROM. Now I see the <Using the OMAP-L132-L138 Bootloader Application Report> and <OMAP-L138 C6000 DSP+ARM Processor Technical Reference Manual (Rev. A)>, all the doc can't see some describe.

You won't get the information about ARM local ROM where the ARM RBL code is flashed permanently.
Can you please use the debug gel file and see the status of SoC for different, different failures ?

Thank you provide this debug methods. Now I user aisgen tools to boot the u-boot.bin and not used u-boot/spl, it can allways boot system sucessful. Soo I think the SPL initialize the DDR2 have some error, have some patch to fixup this probrem?

Are you converting u-boot.bin to u-boot.ais using AISgen tool and flashed ?
Are you getting the problem again if you used the older u-boot/spl ?
Which boot method are you using ?
SPI or NAND ?

MMC and NAND boot.
I user aisgen tools to general u-boot.ais, can allways boot sucessful, but user u-boot/spl can some time boot halt.
The ais pass ddr2 param for arm local rom can initializer DDR2 sucessful, but the u-boot/spl initializer maybe have some problem.

Can you please make sure that you have used the DDR timing parameters in both u-boot versions ?

We would give the DDR timings parameters in AISgen tool.
