working with DSP of L138

Ehsan Behravan

we have a L138 LCDK Board. we could install arago-linux on it with matrix launcher.

the question is how to work with DSP via ARM.

i mean we have an application in ARM processor and we want to process some tasks on the DSP and return result to arm.

i don't have any idea about general overview about working with dsp in l138.

i don't know where i should start.

Hi Ehsan Behravan,

case 1:

If you are planning to run the linux operating system on ARM you can use the syslink to communicate with the DSP processor.

Case 2:

If you are planning to run the bare metal code on ARM without Linux and want to communicate with the DSP processor, we have starterware IPC examples.

Examples available: 1) ipc_buffer_io 2) ipc_interrupt 3) ipc_polling
