I am looking for an inexpensive ARM-based CPU that runs Linux 4.1+ and has a PCIe HOST controller built-in.
It can either be OMAP or Sitara - I'm indifferent.

Hi Anuj,

You can check DaVinci Video Processors TMS320DM8127, DM385 and DM388. These comes with linux kernel 4.4 support and has also PCIe. See the below e2e thread:

From the Sitara devices, I found only AM57x family (i.e. AM5728) fit your requirements.

Pavel is right...you can check also AM5706, the entry level device of the AM57x family.

I still haven't had a TI representative contact me. Note that I am working with a 3rd party that potentially wants to design a solution with a TI chip paired to Intel Wifi.
