    Hi

    Dose DA830 officially support PRUSS?
There are no PRUSS related descriptions in DA830 Datasheet. But DA830 DSP core must use it to boot ARM core in the same way as OMAP-L137.

Thanks in advance for your information.

    Best regards,  j-breeze

      J-Breeze,

Let me check with the Aureus Audio Team. I'll reply shortly.

      Hello,

DA830 actually DOES support PRUSS, although we have not yet exposed it in the documentation.  We are planning to do so at some point this year, but haven't gotten around to it yet.  That being said, the documentation for PRUSS in the L137 documentation applies to DA830 as well.

      Thanks,

      Bobby T.

      Hi,

I have a similar doubt. Does DA828 and DA808 also support PRUSS? We are planning to use DA828 initially for our system and later replace it with DA808..We wanted to know if PRUSS of these devices can be used for McASP.

      Thanks in advance,

      Rajaram

      Hi Rajaram

There are no plans to support the PRUSS as is supported on the OMAPL1x/C674x family on the DA8xx family. Can you please contact the local field sales office to provide us more info on your end application and possibly exploring the use of OMAPL1x/C674x instead of DA8xx if using PRU is a must have etc.

      Regards

      Mukul
