Beagleboard xM console argument in bootargs for HDMI.

Hello,

I recently did a project on beagleboard xM where we booted linux 3.2.21 with angstrom rootfs. We had connected the board through UART and minicom virtual terminal. Without enabling the DSPbridge support in menuconfig, we could see the boot process on the minicom using ttyO2 / ttyS2 console argument.

But when we enable the bridge drivers we get no output on the minicom. the boot process shows the typical
Uncompressing the kernel..... hang up message. Again as soon as we connect the HDMI cable to the monitor and our board we can see the angstrom distro and login prompt.

What could be the reason. Why does enabling the DSP bridge driver cause this issue, does it internally change the console settings. What are the settings for the HDMI/DVI display in console.
