Hi,
I am trying to understand the TRM documentation regarding the Power management, with regards to the Linux PM capabilities.
The power management wiki states the c-states, but in TRM I did not find such table but only power domain states
Power State:
Active
Inactive
Retention (CSWR)
Retention (OSWR)
Off
State | Description |
---|---|
C1 | MPU WFI + Core active |
C2 | MPU WFI + Core inactive |
C3 | MPU CSWR + Core inactive |
C4 | MPU OFF + Core inactive |
C5 | MPU RET + CORE RET |
C6 | MPU OFF + CORE RET |
C7 | MPU OFF + CORE OFF |
Now it is stated that we can only choose between the off mode, and the retenetion mode as the lowest power mode.
Which of the above states are equal to this state ? Is it C5 state ? Is it also the same CSWR (or OSWR) ?
Thanks,
Ran
