power domain states

Guru 20755 points

Hi,

I am trying to understand the TRM documentation regarding the Power management, with regards to the Linux PM capabilities.

The power management wiki states the c-states, but in TRM I did not find such table but only power domain states

Power State:
Active
Inactive
Retention (CSWR)
Retention (OSWR)
Off

C-states in OMAP3
StateDescription
C1 MPU WFI + Core active
C2 MPU WFI + Core inactive
C3 MPU CSWR + Core inactive
C4 MPU OFF + Core inactive
C5 MPU RET + CORE RET
C6 MPU OFF + CORE RET
C7 MPU OFF + CORE OFF

Now it is stated that we can only choose between the off mode, and the retenetion mode as the lowest power mode.

Which of the above states are equal to this state ? Is it C5  state ? Is it also the same CSWR (or OSWR) ?

Thanks,

Ran
