retention mode - picture on screen

Hello,

I have configured retention mode as the lowest power save mode.

I see that with cpuidle I get into retention put (state4 time is increasing), but the picture in still shown on screen ? Is that possible in retention mode ?

When I enter retention mode using suspend/resume option, the screen is automatically get shutdown.

    Hi Ran,

    If the whole system is in retention I don't expect the picture to be shown on the screen. The DSS should be suspended and the screen should be dark.

    Hi

    I See that time counter of state4 is keep incremented. All this is done as part of cpuidle without any suspend request from user. From the increment of state4 I understand that retention mode is entered, right? Why the screen still show picture than ? When I order to move to off mode and suspend the system than screen get off.
