We have developed a custom board with the sitara am3517 (ZER package) based on the EVM of the LogicPD. the Nand and DDR2 module are the same of EVM. But when we try to use Flash tools (v1.6) the application answer "Malformed message" waiting 2nd step.

The tools seems upload correctly the 2nd binary and the micro correctly runs it, but the first serial message has invalid values (link 00 00 00 FF FF FF ...). The length of the message (compared with the EVM) is correct (we analyze it using an oscilloscope with serial decoding) but the content is wrong.

The micro power supply seems ok like the power up sequence. Also the crystal seemd ok.  The PLL configuration should be correct (we use the same of the evm)since the serial speed is perfect.

Has anyone an idea about this problem? We have a project stopped until we will find a solution.

Is there a way to download a custom program to the SItara without the Flash tools to run some test like DDR or NAND
