Can someone tell me what does TMS320C64x+ refer to ,
what is the difference between TMS320C64x+ and TMS320C64x,
I see the imglib for both version , is there any imglib for C674x?

Hi Xavier,
The IMGLIB 3.1.1.0 is compatible to run on C674x.
Please refer the TI E2E post.

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
We do have image libraries for c64x, c64x+ & c66x but i don't think for c674x.
c64x+ core is the next higher revision chip of c64x core.
However, the IMGLIB 3.1.1.0 is fully optimized for C64x+ and is compatible to run on C674x. You can find the release of IMGLIB 3.0.1 as
http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/imglib/3_0_1_0/index_FDS.html
Also, please refer the below E2E post for your reference:

We do provide IMGLIB and VLIB optimized libraries for similifying image and video related development on the C64x+ DSPs. Here are some useful documents for get you started

As i am not familiar with c64x+ core which you say is the next higher revision chip of c64x core.
Could you introduce for me ,
I know dm642 belongs to c64x core,
which chip belongs c64x+ core, 6467 or something link that?
And what C674x belongs to
currently we use c64x imglib sprc094 on dm8168 C674x float dsp,
Is this appropriate?
best regards
xavier
Thank you for your replay,
currently we use c64x imglib sprc094 on dm8168 C674x float dsp,
Is this appropriate?
we also run on our board,
from http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/tirtos/f/355/t/254384.aspx
i kown that
By using -o3 option, Natural C Code was fastest, and IMGLIB was slowest.
We were thinking that IMGLIB is optimized for C674x core
so that IMGLIB will be the fastest even using -o3 option.
i think this is also right for c64x imglib am i right?
best regards
xavier
