Qusetion about 6455 HPI boot mode

Please make sure that you are followed the steps that mentioned in C6455 bootloader doc (spruec6) chapter 2.3.2

Please make sure that your application code and data sections need to be 32 bit aligned.

In my DSP program,I have use the DSP/BIOS,and use the HWI rest int the HWI option.I also have insert a vector in the MEM ,and the base address is 0x800000.

Your execute addressing seems to be ok. For HPI boot, the default execute address is L2 (0x800000)

Try to probe the HPI signals and check that whether the DSP hangs some where in the code or not even main() got executed.

Also try to use simple DSP hello world example (not BIOS) to confirm the HPI boot steps & operations.

I'm sure I have followed the steps.I first write 0x00010001 to HPIC,second write the .out to DSP, and the write the 0x00020002 to HPIC(DSPINT = 1).

IS there need some initialit before download .out?

Through LED debugging or text prints in UART.

I'm sure I have followed the steps.I first write 0x00010001 to HPIC,second write the .out to DSP, and the write the 0x00020002 to HPIC(DSPINT = 1).

Please check the HPIC register value, what is the use for the value in the above shaded bit (1 & 2)

The shaded bit is no use, it will affect the boot? We had test write 0x00020002 can also trigger the HPI HWI.

I write the 0x00010001,because I did not konw the HPIC HWOB bit in which value.

I will try to write 0x00000002 to the HPIC.

I have try to write 0x00000002 to HPIC when I download the DSP program, but it always not use.

My program can be download and run in PCI mode,did it say that  my program is ok?

Could you help me to download my program in HPI mode in your DSP?  In my program I have turn on a led by GPIO5 thanks.3716.plasw.zip
