DSP radio Arcitecture in C6416

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6416

Hi
I've been assigned to design a DSP radio using a TMS320C6416 DSP kit (from Texas Instruments)...I admit am still finding my feet here.Plus am not familiar with many Digital radio Architectures. but this wha I had in mind:

I'm not familiar with this sort of architecture but I was wondering if this can be achievable in this particular kit(TMS320C6416)...and if possible, some material that would be good use in aiding me with this project.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

I think, there is Small Form Factor (SFF) based Software Defined Radio (SDR) Development Platform developed in collaboration with Xilinx Inc. and other 3rd parties, which provides you the entire signal chain hardware from antenna to baseband as well as a software board support package which  supports a complete suite of software development tools in a single integrated development platform.
