Machine Intelligence for Engine Management Systems

Is there a single-core C6000 suitable for machine intelligence? I hesitate to attempt programming a multi-core device for this application. The C6000 DSP's core architecture resembles a supercomputer, which should be ideal for machine intelligence.

To my opinion, you can use C6748 DSP for your application. I hope it meets all your requirement. If you want more guidance to select the DSP, please feel free to contact your local FAE.

Dear Senthil,

The C6748 does not feature full automotive temperature range. Also machine intelligence does not require floating point, which slows a DSP considerably. Nor is low power a requirement
