Hello,
We are using DSP TMS320C6457 in our design,
In our design Boot mode for DSP is EMIFA Boot,
If i changed Boot mode from EMIFA to no Boot mode,
Will DSP Draw more current in EMIFA Boot mode or No Boot mode?

Hi,
In my understanding, "No boot mode" current draw more current than "EMIF boot" since some of the peripherals got enabled while "No boot mode"
Hello Pramod,
When you are EMIF boot mode, it would consume core power and EMIF peripheral power which you could calculate in the power consumption model.

When you switch to no boot mode i.e., emulation mode, the current consumption depends on the peripherals you are initializing through GEL file and its utilization. You could calculate this consumption as well in the above spreadsheet by providing proper inputs.
