interfacing arduino and c6713

Hi,

I have been working on interfacing arduino and c6713 to produce a 606HZ sine wave. I would need to trigger the DSP to produce the signal when ever i receive the digital signal from arduino .

So i would like to know how can do this. I am not sure about how the interfacing happens.

Hi,
The post on the link e2e.ti.com/.../432910 is about developing a sine wave and this post is about interfacing ardunio and c6713.
This post is mainly on the interfacing two devices.

I am using ardunio just to give a digital pulse to the DSP. My part on the DSP is how to read the digital data

Hi,

You have to develop your own code to get sync interfacing with other device. TI will support only device related queries on the c67x forum

But TI do support the forum for interfacing external devices, because we are unable to find the commands used to read the data through GPIO ports. If you can suggest a place to look out for the commands for coding TI products.

Thanks for your update.

I saw a configuration on a E2E post below, which has an Arduino micro-controller connected to C6713, and then the Arduino connected to a relay switch and I do think, the post below would help you better to interface arduino and c6713:

The above post uses Arduino pin3 but instead, you could use GP0 pin on the C6713.

If the Arduino board has a compatible connector to plug onto the DSK6713's expansion header, and if that expansion header has an I2C port pinned out, then the Arduino board becomes your daughtercard to the DSK6713.

Please review the DSK6713 Technical Reference Manual to find which ports are made available on the various headers and connectors. These are the only resources which are available to you. Kindly utilise the same.
