hello

I'm using to board including two chips(tms320c6424).

I had a problem that chip wasn't booting.

Tantalum Capacitors was connected 1.8V regulator to solve this problem.

So I could solve this problem.

By the way, only one of the chip is booting.

Another chip is booting later(5sec~10sec).

I want to hear advice.

Able to boot both chips with some delay for chip2 when you use tantalum caps on 1V8 rail ?

How did you connect the RESET pin for both chips ?

Could you share the RESET signal from scope (CRO) so that it would help for our hw experts to investigate.

What was the voltage at 1.8V rail before you connect Tantalum capacitor ?

I suspect there is an issue with power and reset in your design. So could you please capture the power rails and RESET before and after the tantalum capacitor ?

If possible, please share the schematics of your design ?
