Audio input level control

Hi

I'm using EVM6424 and I  want to control  the audio input level from line-in ( reduce ) . I tried to enable the AGC and configuring the AGC control register A&B . but the input signal level still high . which registers should i program to reduce the input signal level ( currently it's 2V)

  • Which example code you are using ?
  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

I think, three fully-differential analog inputs can similarly be mixed into the right ADC PGA as well, consisting of LINE1RP-LINE1RM, LINE2RP-LINE2RM, and LINE1LP-LINE1LM. There are various differential mixing configuration available and for more details, kindly refer the AIC33 audio codec datasheet below:

    http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tlv320aic33.pdf

Also, in the above datasheet, you could check the LINE1L, LINE1R, LINE2L LINE2R to left and right ADC control registers which are registers 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. Kindly check it on page no's 51-54.

    Thanks & regards,

    Sivaraj K
