CCS/TMS320C6748: Virtual COM PORT not Created on windows 7(32/64 bit) using usb_serial_code

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I had facing one problem in usb_dev_serial code, Problem is the Virtual COM Port not created on windows 7 (32/64 bit ) but in windows 10 it created automatically and data transfer on COM PORT is working OK.

I had try to search Drivers but their is not available on Website. So please give us solution.

Hi,

You should be able to detect the board serial port automatically... Do you use teraterm or putty?

Maybe you don't have the standard FT232R USB UART Driver..

There seems to be similar issue reported here:

But is still unclear what is causing this issue on Windows7
