The customer Elbit isusing the TMS320C6748EZCED4E in card called PRD.

The PRD card protocol based on Power on and power off sequence with in travel of short time.

Power on is for three seconds and after that Power off is for 25 seconds etc. This procedure is done for a long time period such as 48 hours up to 80 hours.

There is a limitation of this procedure for the TMS320C6748EZCED4E?

Asi, Nir,

The C6748 datasheet specifies the requirements for the power-on sequence and the power-off sequence. There is also a section that discusses the requirements for reset and for clocking. All of these requirements must be followed or you will expect to experience degraded operation of the device, either in terms of lost operating hours, slower device operation, or even incorrect device operation; other failure methods could also be seen, and cannot be predicted when the device is operated outside of the datasheet specifications.
