TMS320C6748: Cant run starterware UART example in loopback mode

Hello,

I successfully did UART2 starterware example in c6748. I want to do UART2 example with loopback mode. I added statement

UARTModemControlSet(SOC_UART_2_REGS,UART_LOOPBACK);

But program neither run correct nor is the UART2 MCR register updated when I view registers from CCS.

Please help me find mistake.
