Moved Legacy CCS v3.3 code with XDIAS 1.0, running on TMS320C6416, to CCS7.2.0, with XDIAS 7.0.

The CCS 3.3 version had ethernet support, as verified by Wireshark.

The CCS v7.2 code does not respond to ethernet handshake, no response to ARP, verified on Wireshark.

How is the Ethernet support included in CCS V7.2?

Hi Krishna,

Can you please check the compiler optimizations settings? Perhaps parts of the code are being optimized out in CCSv7.2.

You can also try using the old compiler version that was being used in CCSv3.3. You can point to it by going to Project Properties->General->Compiler version->More->Browse to the compiler directory.

Took optimization for both compiler and llinker out. It reduces the functionality even more. does not work.
Do not have access to CCS v3.3

Not using a SDK RTOS. No RTOS is used. Using custom board with TMS320C6416 chip. The code is in assembly.

The old code developed in CCS v3.3 when flashed, the Ethernet works. The same legacy code ported to CCS v 7.2 , executed in debug mode via JTAG does not work.
