during my Jtag test, i faced a ID code error message.  What  can be  the reasons?

My engineer told me that may be due to an old version on TMS32C6713GDPA200.  Is this so?

    Justin,

Can you post a screen shot of the error you are facing and the details of the setup (What emulator, version number of the device, etc) for us to better understand the problem. At this point it appears unlikely that a old version of the device should cause the issue but we can look at it once you provide the details.

    Regards,

    Rahul

Can you provide the file when you do a memory dump of the 6713.

There are silicon differences between the 6713 & 6713B which are specified in the 6713 Silicon Errata on the 6713B Webiste
