Hi,

I want to attach a LED display screen to the TMS320C6713 DSK starter kit. Any ideas how?

Thanks!

Jason

It would important to know what interface the LED display uses.  For information on the TMS320C6713 DSK, you can go to Spectrum Digital's support website to get the Technical Reference manual for the DSK.  This will have information on what interfaces are available on the expansion connectors, which are the EMIF and 2 McBSPs with a handful of other signals.

Forgot to include the link to the support site for the DSK.

    Great, thanks!

By the way, just to clarify. I am looking into displaying a frequency spectrum graph on the display. Would that be possible? As I was adviced that this DSP kit is only capable of displaying 7 bit segments

    cheers

There are a couple of things to consider.  The interface to the display and what refresh rates it will support.  Secondly, you will need to develop your own driver for the display accordingly.
