dc input issue

HI i am implementing buck converter through tms320c6713 . buck converter's output is to be given to tms320c6713 as input through line in or mic in. Is it possible to directly input dc voltage to above mention DSK.

I have tried to give dc voltages directly to tms320c6713 but it did not take that as input.whats could be possible solution to this problem am in lot of tension from last two weeks.

Thanks

  • Hi Shahzad,

I can’t understand your question clearly, Can you please explain me the buck converter implementation scheme using C6713 DSP and more over how can you implement buck converter by giving direct DC voltage to Line-in or Mic-in input? , TLV320AIC23 audio codec accept only Vrms (Sine wave) with 1V typical peal to peak, please refer the TLV320AIC23 datasheet for more details.

Actually i was asking is it possible to somehow give DC input voltage through line in or mic in of the C6713 DSP.

  • Hi Shahzad,

There is no possibility of connecting direct DC input to TLV320AIC23 audio codec; you can opt for an external ADC for this purpose
