My board NAND flah size is 2G bit in TMS320C6748, now trying to NAND flah size is changed to 1G bit.restart Load board bin file can not run, but the Load.Out file is the normal worked. Changeto 1G size flah, need to modify the gel or CMD?My board use the NANDflash for SPANSION :"S34ML01G200tfi00" and "S34ML01G100tfi00".

Able to access the memory through CCS by enabling the EMIFA with CS3 for NAND flash for the new NAND flash.
How about the NAND flash data width ?
Please make sure that you are using the same data width for new flash.

If it is different data width, you may want to change the ASYNC CFG3 register (CS3) bit 0.

I through CCS by enabling access the memory, didn't found the Registers list had SYSCFG3,the Registers list only had SYSCFG0 and SYSCFG01 ,they have no register (CS3).what's reason?

Hi Wang,

I think some misunderstanding her about the EMIFA of CS3 CFG register.

Actually, CE3CFG register of EMIFA is the one used to configure the chip select for NAND flash but not SYSCFG3.

I emluation boader,registers CE3CFG Value for 0x3FFFFFFD. 2G bit nand flashregisters CE3CFG Value for 0x3FFFFFFC.

what's it reason?

You have to set the bit "ASIZE" as per your NAND data width.

CE3CFG Value for 0x3FFFFFFD ===> It is for 16 bit NAND flash
CE3CFG Value for 0x3FFFFFFC ===> It is for 8 bit NAND flash
