Welcome to E2E Forum.

I think you have to configure TLV320AIC23B codec, But you can't use both LINE IN and MIC IN at the same time.

Kindly go through its datasheet below.

You need to configure the TLV320AIC23B codec control registers in the code to enable MIC IN and LINE IN support.

In the above doc., please check the register details (page no. 21)

Power Down Control (Address: 0000110), in which kindly check D0(LINE) and D1(MIC). By default both D0 & D1 are turned off.

You can turn them on by writing 0 .

Analog Audio Path Control (Address: 0000100) , in which kindly check D2(INSEL), which by default is selected for LINE IN , you can change it for MIC IN by writing 1 to it.

Is there any way , to use have two inputs for this device. If i can use a additional device .

It can be possible by using 2 devices and combining them and doing some additional wiring and all.

Or you can check is their any vendor who makes any daughter-card for your requirement.

I checked with external vendor. They have stopped the manufacturing the product.
So how to do this with adding additional codec device.

Can i use another DSK device as a external for 2nd mic input instead of daughter card.
