PLL VDD Connection to 1.3V

Hi.

Please tell me if we can connect PLL VDDA to CVDD 1.3V?  I know that the maximum voltage condition of PLL VDDA is 1.32V and the line must have a filter for noise reduction. Is there other restriction to connect PLL VDDA to 1.3V?

Best regards,

  • Hi Furuse-san

Yes, as mentioned in the datasheet , you can tie 2a and 2b together

    Core logic supplies:
    (a) All variable 1.3V - 1.0V core logic supplies (CVDD)
    (b) All static core logic supplies (RVDD, PLL0_VDDA, PLL1_VDDA, USB_CVDD, SATA_VDD). If voltage scaling is not used on the device, groups 2a) and 2b) can be controlled from the same power supply and powered up together.

As you noted, you will need to make sure the design has a tighter min max spec of 1.32V even for CVDD if you tie them together.
